Free Family Media Camp in August….
Become a “Live your Life” Detective!

What? Together with your child we’ll go through fun activities that build skills on how to watch TV and how to see the advertising world around us “like a detective”. Families will get great tips on healthy eating and also create their very own TV commercial. Scavenger hunts, puzzles, and more.
When? Every Tuesday from 4pm-6pm during August (August 3rd, August 10th, August 17th, August 24th, August 31st)
Where? The Columbia Community Partnership for Health/The Learning Center. 390 Fort Washington Avenue, (177th and 178th Street).

Families will receive a “I’m a Live your Life Detective” certificate and $20 in Green Bucks at the end of five sessions, good for buying fresh fruits and vegetables at our local farmers’ markets. Every session includes a light exercise break. Sign up and see you there!

Conviértase en un Detective de Vive tu Vida

¿Que? Junto a sus hijos, realizaremos divertidas actividades que estimulan las habilidades sobre la forma de ver la televisión y ver al mundo de la publicidad que nos rodea “como un detective”. Estos son grandes habilidades que duran para toda la vida para un niño que está aprendiendo a entender el mundo que les rodea. Las actividades incluyen: Búsqueda de tesoros, rompecabezas y muchas más.
¿Cuando? Cade martes 4pm-6pm durante el mes de agosto (3 de agosto, 10 de agosto, 17 de agosto, 24 de agosto, 31 de agosto)
¿Dónde? El Columbia Community Partnership for Health/The Learning Center, localizado en el 390 Fort Washington Avenue, (entre la calle 177 y la 178).
